I have just recived a lower strut brace made by PhillipM. Got it off Midlife for £30 It was unpainted. So I primed it and sprayed It up using Red Hammerite. Looks lovely. And very well made. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hopefully I'll get to fit it tomorrow afternoon, If the weather permits. ![]() ________________________________________ My Rallye was built on thursday 7th January 1999 according to the cosmic code generator. My Cyclone refurb |

Well after having a thrash at yesterdays meet. I am quite pleased with the lower brace, the front seams more planted and the steering is more twitchy I does feel different but hard to explain how. I can deffo feel the surface of the road more through the steering wheel. So I suppose that means the fronts stiffer. ________________________________________ My Rallye was built on thursday 7th January 1999 according to the cosmic code generator. My Cyclone refurb |

Well, took you a few months to fit it Anyway what's that leak from your gearbox - is it normal? I have the same and when I remove the bulkhead (or whatever it's called) it's all oily . Other thing - is fitting the bulkhead impossible after installing the lower strut brace? I'm thinking of getting a lower strut brace but I don't wanna remove my bulkhead, it's really useful imo ________________________________________ post.tenebras.lux11 May 1998 |

Don't know if anyone actually checked to see if the undertray fits with the brace on?________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. A bulkhead is a wall, a deckhead is a ceiling and a deck is obviously the floor [/royal navy phrases] |

I fitted it before the last scottish meet I just thought i put the pics in the tread. As for fitting the undertray you would have to do a but of modding. Its to long and bulky to fit under the strutbrace. I'm going to look at making a ally one in the new year.________________________________________ My Rallye was built on thursday 7th January 1999 according to the cosmic code generator. My Cyclone refurb |
