Just been looking back at the posts.The flywheel never came with new fixings for the clutch , Will the standard bolts do fine from my old clutch ? Or will I need M8 x 20mm socket caps ? Will these do |

Right I'm fitting this tomorrow morning sooooo!Am I right in thinking that the Original Clutch to Flywheel fixings were M7 x 21mm (Service box 7x100-21). Problem is pilot through clutch is only 7mm so have you been drilling out the new size of 8mm or more to give good clearance. Also noticed that these fixings will poke out 13mm crank side of the flywheel. This normal? Flywheel fixing are M9 x 22mm guessing these say but cleaned up and thread locked then tightened @ 65Nm. |

Got them from screw fix for 3 quid for 50 in the end, panic over didn't relise there such a common bolt. Hello.Is there any chance to get one done atm? I just bought a GTI-6 engine that needs a flywheel. So would be nice to fit a light flywheel at this time. The engine is going into a 405 ph2 btw :-). Also, I live in Norway, hope thats not a problem... |
