I'm probably being daft but changing the Camshaft Pulley I assume means taking off the cambelt and then having to time it up again properly? ________________________________________ Now rollin' in a 182FF |

If there is, it's a typo No need to go near cambelt - half hour job to fit these pullies, only belt that needs to come off is the alternator belt ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |

This may sound a bit random but I'm sure that if you could get some HDi crankshaft pulleys made up you'd get quite a few sold, seems to be a common fault that crankshaft pulleys go on them, which meant pug redesigned them, so there's a new type, which costs in the region of 100 quid, and looks no where near as bombproof as yours. Was just a thought! There is no spacer on the GTi-6 - it bolts straight onto the boss on the mounting plate, like the OE pulley ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |
