The trouble is with having no vacuum draw of the crankcase gasses is that you are relying on blow by pressure to push out the fumes/moisture etc.
On a nasp engine you do not get much blow by.
Race engine's get away with it due to the temps the oil gets too and also regular oil changes.
A road car engine will not get hot enough on every trip to evaporate moisture from the crank case and it will end up collecting in your cam covers.
A oil seperator is the best bet, that seperates liquids and retains them in the can,and the gasses get sucked into inlet.
Since fitting mine the tb/inlet is oil/gunk free, and I have got about half a jar full of water/gunk out the seperator after aprox 6 months use.
Run a empty catch can with no vacuum draw for 6 months and see what you get in it!!! Not alot is the answer as the moisture/gunk is in your crank case still mixing nicely with your oil!
