title says most of it.

from cold the engine will hesitate/stutter at the 2000rpm mark....every gear.

it lasts about 1-2 minutes untill its warmer then runs fine.

ive replaced almost every sensor and a few other things now.

o2
green temp
tps
map
icv
crank sensor
spark plugs
ignition coils
fuel pump
fuel injectors

any ideas what else could be causing this?

Maybe condensation in the intake? Was it very humid when the issue occurred?

not really.....it has been happening since i cured another random issue by replacing the green temp sensor 3-4 months ago.... it would get a gammy/bad idle only when upto temp and slowly get worse intill i blipped the throttle.

i think this problem though was more electrical/ecu than cercumstantial. its repeatability was daily, every morning and at 2000rpm...

its very annoying and not.....im glad its stopped happening. but i much prefer the satisfaction/reassurance of swapping out a part or finding a busted wire and that fixing my problem....

i feel like at some point in the future it will rear its head again, just as im gaining confidence in the cars reliability

funny thing was the last sensor i havnt replaced is the air inlet tempreture.....which turned up thursday.

i darn't fit the thing as im sure the ecu reset will make this problem reoccur.

issue has reoccured, keeps reoccuring Sad

found a crack/leak in my inlet manifold gasket on the port closest to the throttle body today,

the gasket got replaced along with the throttle body gasket as they were past their best.

hopefully that was my issue.

Did you change the spark plugs for the same? Or did you change brands?

thanks for keeping up with this, really annoying issue.

i went for denso iridium super fine tips when i replaced the spark plugs over a year ago. along with a set of supposedly working 2nd hand coil packs from spoox.

one of the coil packs had cracks in the resin and i asked for a replacement but the "fine gentleman" told me no...Thumbs down

i did use a cheapy ebay spark/coilpack tester and every coil did seem to have a nice consistant long strong spark.

saw a youtube video all about fake iridium spark plugs with wildly different internal resistances...havnt checked mine yet.

i also got a cheapy compression tester but i am yet to open that box of woe.

could it be to do with coil packs, spark plugs or compression?

new lamdba, cat/rest of exhaust was used but didnt seem clogged. passed emmissons at mot so...should be ok.

i do have the teeniest of pin holes in my exhaust. one right by the flange weld on the tube (not the manifold itself) where it connected to the manifold (pre lambda) and one about a foot after the lambda before it goes into the cat.

i was thinking maybe they close up when warm... but when they are hot, they still leak what seems about the same amount.

i cant remember exactly, but i do recall something about close loop, open loop cycles and automatic cold chokes done by ecu.
i.e. when cold, the ecu wont use the lambda sensor untill its warmed up. it will instead use a set fuel map and other sensors until it can use the lambda?

ergo....i think maybe to narrow the problem down (a bit) the issue is to do with this cold startup cycle.

i think i need to do a bit more testing, then fire up the parts cannon again Sad

silly question.....could that t-peice valve on the brake vac line and brake vac boost pump, be malfunctioning and causing this?

i noticed the other day if the cars been sat for a day, the little bleed nipple doesnt make that vac hiss noise when you remove it. it does maybe hiss an hour after the engines been running though.
