Peugeot OEM is now MONROE :Cherry Buell wrote: Went to a peugeot dealer recently and was told that 5206 TE was now superseded with a new part no. don't have it to hand but will post it tomorrow. I ordered the part and got what appears to be monroe monotubes just a generic shock. They look nothing like the stubby originals and after fitting them to a d turbo hdi I must say I'm not happy. I'd be looking at something else if I were you. They do the job just but I wouldnt write home in excitement about them |

What was the the former OEM for 306 dampers? Bilstein B4 should be a good choice for OEM replacement although I've read somewhere that they have a slightly higher damping rate than original if that's a criterion. But don't pin me down to this. |
