i think its just running gear i havnt banged the body on anything any chassis damage will be mounting points i looked at the shock mount thing in the engine bay that looked ok

looks like driveshaft, driveshaft seals will be knackered!,
ball joint wishbone possibly anti roll bar?

its not rocket science to pull apart and have a look Wink
should be able to do it yourself Smile

its more a lack of time than anything else tbh couldent even do the work needed on the kittens MOT this year

working on machanics isnt too much of a problem for me im sitting here trying to fix the engine on my boat at this very muinite

That's the best turning circle I've ever seen on a 6!!....at least you'll be able to go round mini roundabouts now LOL

Seriously though, it doesn't look too bad a job or too expensive. As you say, at least there is no panel damage otherwise it would be a different story. Get it fixed Thumbs up

driveshaft seal will be fine, will need a shaft though, and a wishbone.

stub pins tend to bend not the arm, hopefully the caliper/bracket is ok.


I don't think Ryan is a million miles from you, he'll have plenty of bits to get her back with it wheels pointing the right way.

umm whats this on the end of my driveshaft looks to me like it belongs inside the gearbox not outside it

that's the inner CV joint, right side shaft is a two part unit, you have most likely lost many of the needle rollers from it, if you've been lucky and they're all there then all you need is an inner cv boot and wash all the crap out of it.


to check the rear you need to take the wheel and brake pads off.

Most common only bent the stub, smack it out and check.

so these needle rollers where do they belong are they going to be ratling around my gearbox now or not

wash all the crap out of what and what crap i assume you mean mud etc but i never left the tarmac so i doubt there is any

that shaft hasn't come out oft he gearbox, its two feet over the other side of the car.
