Does anyone else have an issue with this damper? I have this one fail more then any other all the time. I replace with genuine 5208N3 units all the time.

*EDIT Sorry meant the OSF.

They shouldn't fail like that. Maybe there's a problem with them? I would suggest asking Pug if they've had or are having problems with these particular units. Depending on how long you've had it, it should have some sort of warranty on it. The other obvious thing is to fit something else next time like BOGE shocks, BOGE are an original equipment manufacturer - top quality. I know fatlapit's comment is funny, but he may have a point there, do you regulary drive over the same pot holes/speedbumps or do you go up and down kerbs every day on that side? just a thought.

Sorry guys was a bit tired last night and got the side mixed up.

I think I’m on my fourth set now and each time it’s the OSF that goes first. I had moved 10 years ago so now do different routes but even before I’d watch out for potholes and the like and I never go up kurbs.

I just thought it very odd that the same one fails all the time. I have done over 300k mile in the car now (it’s my HDI Dturbo). I see on service box the dampers have the same number so thought I’d ask.

Probably around 100k the one set of dampers were from GSF that didn't last long, I forgot the make. I'm around 340k now.

Most the driving were on motorway so they should have had an easy time.
