Morning lads right i have been looking at some bits and i know there is some of us on here building dimma/ maxi replicas all good stuff lads just sham about the bank balance after LOL

. Anyway i have been looking through the old inter web and could a company in France that make a wide track kit Wink

basically i am wondering who would be up fro a group buy i will post the web page lower down for you to look at Thumbs up

this is their 205 setup, if you have a few people that'll pay the 4.5k that KRS are asking, they may do something for you.

How much difference is there form the standard sub frame to the ones that work used in the works cars I can't find any photos to see what they where like

Think the Satchell stuff if they can do it (workload) comes in around £2k, but still leaves you needing driveshafts and TRE's IIRC.
You can still get Dimma wishbones, extended TRE's and driveshafts from Terry for about a grand.
Depends really on if you want road oriented kit, with a few shortcomings, or full adjustability of track oriented stuff.
Or you can go about making your own stuff..

I'm sure that those who have the capability to fabricate things for themselves are also capable of doing a little research into bump steer.

Satchell are obviously very knowledgeable and good at what they do but they aren't the only ones who can knock something up.

This is the kit Ross and me had purposefully made up for the 306, it uses 406 hubs.

Component list is;

-Modified subframe to suit XU10 engine
-Tubular wishbones with rose jointed bottom arms
-406 hubs(with brand new bearings)
-New machined bottom joints
-Track rod end adapters(weld on)
-Spacers for bump steer
-All fasteners

Proper race setup for maxi width cars.

£2k but that was on the proviso we ordered two kits at the same time - one kit on it's own is £2400.

Yes Damo, will need longer driveshafts. I'm getting some reinforced ones made by a guy in North Yorkshire.

My kit is ready but I haven't taken delivery of it yet. Not sure about Ross, last I heard he was going to have a ride down and collect his.

The trick there is...you don't usually want zero bump steer.

You can see on the unpainted 205 subframe what they can do to strengthen if required.

Sorry lads bee busy with work i am offshore just now home tomorrow though Thumbs up

. Well i have been looking at some other stuff rose joined wish bones i can make my self i have no problem with that. i was on the peugoet sport website and found the diagrams for all the maxi stuff. Big grin

Also i had about an hours convocation over lunch with a chap in France at p/sport who was very helpful. Apparently there is no more Maxi stuff to be had

but he did put me on to a guy in Italy who has come spare parts hopefully a rear axel LOL

probably not but he has a maxi. So i am hoping when i get an email back he will have some photos of stuff so i can get a look to see how things are on it Thumbs up

. Also i managed to get hold of Matter and they will do me a cage for the car so that a plus Smile
