Couldn't find anything in search but I'm sure it's been asked before. The black bag thing that's around the steering rack...mines all frayed and falling off, is it absolutely essential and can they be replaced??________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |

Didn't need it in the end, the VTS rack actually came with a good one so just used that. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

Are you on about the gators which are on each end? If so you can replace all three.________________________________________ 208 GTI OwnerTurbo'd '6 project - work in progress |

We're on about the bag that should sit over the exposed part of the ram, not the gators that live each end of the rack. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |
