How much would you expect to pay to have a clutch supplied and fitted along with the other bits and bobs that are a good idea to replace?________________________________________ 98 Blaze 6 - Current |

It is a right arse to get off and on especially when trying to keep the fork lined up! Fresh oil and a new cable makes all the difference to! |

Be minimum 500 at a garage probably a lot more as book time shows over 7 hours (not that it would take me that long) They last a long time so while it's out its worth doing both shaft seals both clutch fork bushes, changing the input shaft seal / nose cone and renewing the clutch cable. Only a genuine cable is worth bothering with cheap ones don't last. Same with a clutch get a valeo or LUK. ________________________________________ Black power baby! Are all these bits available from GSF or ECP or would I have to go through main dealer? I wouldn't have a clue what most of that stuff looked like so not sure I would trust myself buying the correct parts... £500 that stings a bit... But sounds like parts will come to around £250?________________________________________ 98 Blaze 6 - Current |

ecp do Dura branded cables which are same as o.e, they do luk/valeo clutches as well.bushes are o.e only for decent ones. Febi shaft seals are very cheap, no need to pay 5x as much for o.e, the crank I would leave unless its actually leaking otherwise you'll need to remove the flywheel as well. release bearing guide tube ECP also do Febi items again, though here unless necessary I wouldn't do as in theory you need to check the preload on the input shaft bearing so its not that simple a job for most. depends how fast a turnaround you want, either buy the minimum and hope for the best, and have it out of use for a few days if you need more parts. or go full retard and buy all the stuff and get it done in one go. don't forget o.e/Total gear oil. book time is 6 hours, S16 was more as it was a f**ker to do due to the inlet and coolant pipework, 6 is pretty straightforward and can be done fairly quickly especially on a ramp. I'd offer to do it if you were nearer. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

EPC have a 30% and GSF have a 47% sale on at the moment so you could pick up a cheap clutch. |
