Ok, well my cheapest quote on go compare is 3K with a no fault accident. £100 a month more than i am paying now. so this option just went out the window so to speak. f**k sake.

Scrapping 2 at the moment I don't have a red rallye but if you want a tailgate and rear panel cut I'm in Oxfordshire if that helps

have you tried Green Light or Sky insurance?
i'm sure they can cut you a better deal!

I've just turned 25 but at my last renewal, whilst being 24, I am paying under 400 on a gti6 and under 400 on a fiesta zetec s tdci, with a non-fault total loss accident when I was 21.

Just wang a cherry bootlid on there and slide hammer out dented section if your fanning over the cost of insurance increase.

Maybe say to guy look give me 500 and I'll sort it myself.and then sort it out in years to come

Wow, thats impressive... unfortunately it looks like green light are 21 and over only. i will definitely have a look when i turn 21 though!

Green light. I'm 31 with no claims or convictions. 11yrs+ no claims bonus. HGV driver by trade. Percs of being old I guess. Once upon a time I had to pay £1300 on insurance. I was 17 then though Thumbs up

Ok so dent magic said that they cant really tell the full extend from an exterior check and its going to be anywhere from £600 to over a £1000. they have offered to disassemble it a bit to get a better look.

Ok, so i didn't need to bother taking it all off, i took it to a real professional body shop and they had a good look at it, spotted a few things the other place did not and gave me a final Quote of £1700. Yay... Sad

However having seen some of their work and heard amazing things about their shop i think i will go through with that offer, all i need now is a that rear panel, anyone have one or can obtain one for me?

I'm going to get the tailgate from mocinim this weekend so I'm driving to a bit above London.

Ah, no worries.

its a 200 mile round trip from me, so I'm not sure it will be worth it in terms of petrol usage :L £30~ in my Miata

i mean, if you are close to Bristol at any point in the next week or so that would be perfect haha

Update to this. i sourced the panel from a Pug garage in Cumbria. they actually ended up sending me two by mistake. i think they probably just wanted shot of them!

so now i have a spare XD

dropped the Rallye off at the body shop this Monday. should be all back in shape and ready for collection beginning of next week! Big grin

Does anyone know of a high quality source for the stickers that come on the red rallyes? I've seen some on eBay but i have heard some bad things about them. and I'm pretty sure Peugeot dont make them anymore!
