Hi I'm having to get some custom brake lines made does anyone know the size and what type of connector I need to join to the original brake pipes. Also what's a good recommended length I don't have any hoses to hand to measure and would like to get these ordered asap Many thanks ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

What lines are you replacing bud what set up custom jobs depend on your system are you using a compensator ph2 type or ph3 type Is it of a particullar design If you are having someone do the job they should be able to set it all up for you and supply all required Standard sizes for brake terminations are 10.1 male to fit into the calipers and 12.1 male and female union joins originally but custom your own size Rear brake compensator takes 10mm and 12mm ________________________________________ BLACK RALLYE - phoenixWHITE RALLYE - valliant http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history |

. It's only for the front calipers I know the connector for the cailper end and the company is a willwood stockist so that's cool. Just need the fitting to connect up the the original pipe on the body of the car. Length wise I though 14 in if there too long I can tie them out of the way ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

The end that joins to the pipe at the car end is m10x1 female as far as I'm aware, as it sits in that bracket with the spring loaded clip thing.________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

I made the lines for my Alcon calipers with stuff from Torques.co.uk.you'll need to fit your caliper and work out the hose length yourself, not a big problem for me as the hose comes in units of a metre, so I bought two knowing that a standard hose is 560mm from memory. make up one hose end and fit them to the caliper or car end, move the strut to full lock each way & droop/bump, make sure you have a nice radius not a taut length. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Thread resurrection rather than starting a new one:The inboard/car end of the braided lines will be 10mm x 1 I'm fitting wilwood calipers, from a very quick measure of the inlet to the caliper it is approximately 10mm and it requires a banjo fitting. 1/8 NPT is only a bit over 10mm so I'm wondering if it could also be this. I'll try winding in a 10mm bolt which should allow me to check whether or not the thread is tapered and should hopefully show it is an M10 banjo! Just wondering: when others have fitted wilwood calipers did they find it was M10 or a 1/8 NPT? ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

seems wilwood are random and do use 1/8th by 27 tpi, so not somewhere a banjo could be used, you need an adapter then an elbow of your choice________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

They are used.I have looked and as you said wilwood do use 1/8 NPT on some of their products, but you can also get 10mm caliper inlet fittings from them which would suggest it could be either depending on the product. I can let you know had mine made but Hel seemed to fit when I dry fitted them together. I was told to steer clear of banjo fittings on a road car ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |
