Don't think this has been covered before? For at least the last couple of years after shutting off my 6 the fuel pump primes for about 3 seconds every 30 seconds for about 5 minutes.... then finally stops. Does this every time it's switched off....

Normally they prime once after being shut off which mine does but it continues doing it for some time on and off.

It's never been an issue but just wondering if anyone else's does it or just mine?

I've previously swapped the multifunction relay thinking that would sort it but it made no difference. Must be down to the ECU?

Baring in mind it's a low boost Version 2 mapped ecu do other low boosts do it?

Yup I've owned loads of 6 and rallye and they all do it once. Mine does it like 10x.

My low boost does exactly the same and I've also swapped out the fuel pump/ignition relay which didn't change anything either, I'm also using the 2nd revision ecu.

Mine used to do this when it was standard. Would set my Toad alarm off all the time.

Mine does it every 60 secs for 5 mins after turn off. Makes it worse as i have a bosch 044 under the boot floor which makes a racket.

My lowboost did it to with revision 2.
