Right guys i'm stuck!

Recently swapped an engine over for a friend as his old one dies due to a bottom end rattle. After swapping engine over etc we started the car up and it run first time. After stopping the car it would not start again for some reason.

After investigation it turns out that the fuel pump will not prime, now i've read up and several posts point to the dual fuel relay. However this was swaped out for a known working one and still no joy Sad

Any ideas? im thinking possible ECU issues?

was the ECU hard unlocked? or was it just swapped without ECU being touched?

Ive tried 2 different relays and both were working fine before engine swap. yeah all fuses checked to ruile that out and it wont be the starter as its not getting fuel up to the fuel rail
