Hi Guys, quick question, on acceleration and then letting go off accelerator pedal my rallye gives an engine mount like knock which i feel might be the shafts ?
Ive tried the old stationery foot on brake and lifting clutch while in gear but doesent seem to have any mount movement?

More than likely the top cradle cracked/rotted as suggested. Sad

It could also be a shaft, had a similar problem on a dturbo and as said above checked the cradle and all was good. Took out the n/s shaft first being the easier and took off the inner boot to find some of the needle bearings on one of the three rollers had broken and come loose and mixed with the grease. Replaced the shaft complete part no. 3272 0G remanufactured and all was good again.
