Running Total Quartz 9000 (fully synthetic) 5w40 in my 6. Haven't had any issues so far in the 12k miles I've had it. In fact it'll be getting changed for the same stuff next week. 5 litres of Oil + Genuine Pug oil filter came to £34 delivered so can't complain at all.

I also run Total Quartz 9000 which is the recommended oil if you want fully synthetic, with genuine filters. This oil also has the advantage of being inexpensive as others have said.

I use 5W 40 fully synthetic Castrol Edge
and Castrol 75W 85 for the transmission, only semi synthetic,
if you go fully they recommend a 2000km flush with the fully synthetic.

I buy quartz 9000 5w40 from Peugeot in 20l and it works out cheap. Used it for years and years.

Track car currently uses this

Although I get trade prices on it. Runs a lot cooler than the Total or the Motul Sport I've also used
