I have a coolant leak coming from the thermostat area. It seems to be coming from the joint between the hose and black thermostat housing. I changed the o ring/ seal on the end of the hose but it's still leaking. Do I need a new thermostat housing (black plastic part) or a new rad hose? |

probably needs a new thermostat seal if the plastic part is intact.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I've changed the thermostat recently so replaced this then. Just to clarify there is only a seal that sits round the actual thermostat, a metal gasket between head and metal housing and Then just the O ring on the end of the hose? Or am I missing a seal somewhere? |

Either you put the new thermostat seal on dry and its snagged up while pushing in the hose. Make sure that the metal end of the rad hose is clean and not rusty. Clean it up or get a new one if not. Of the Black plastic elbow has a hairline crack which opens up when warm. I recently had this, took me ages to find it. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |
