I’ve seen a few break or bend !!!!Well you all know me totally OTT ...I doubled up the thickness of every bit of metal including all around the nylon bush which isn’t clear to see with the bush refitted ....it’s now from 3mm to 6mm and 10mm on the T ends .... It’s sort of based on the original mount but beefed up 100% Also I’m going for another lower mount on the passenger side ....in the process of making that .... sadly every mount is solid ...it’s all going to help rattle my fillings out my teeth .....but should give me fantastic gear change and no engine twist on acceleration....we will see |

I've got to say, I'd love to see this in action, I'm expecting big things though! I'd like to say my touring car would be there too, but currently I'd be surprised if it moves this year....________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Damien took me out for a few laps in this at FCS several years ago and it was very fast, I'm fairly sure he ended up lapping a few people in the fairly short stint we were out for. I think it was running approx 280bhp at the time, but the speed it carried through corners was very impressive and that was a lot of changes and development ago! ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

Small update again ...getting plenty of time to work on my car in the afternoon after work and now weekends i was not happy with the weight and look of the 12mm Alloy top Camside engine mount ....so here’s the new 4mm plate steel Mk2 version in (kit form) before being Tigged up ...one of my customers supplied and CNC Plasma cut it all and he made two sets . Also I’ll have to drill the hole Original 12mm alloy Mk1 on the left sprayed dark grey Pic in next post |
