Alloy plate made and stuck onto my nearside rear quarter Lexan window at the point I fill up ....any spills with VMAX petrol tend to melt the Lexan and mark it ....learned this from the race cars I helped out the last couple of years Day666 has attached the following image: |

Mine now is better at speed Pete ...horrible slow I’ll probably do Pugfest and then think about a few independent days depending on how it handles ? It’s really set up for Tracks now and not just Combe I have a few things to Tweek and change and that’s me happy until my Sequencial in 2-3 years which WILL happen |

Thank you Steve Yes totally agree ....Monday was a shake down and I did abuse it badly ....even doing 1/2/3 wheel spin silly starts to test the drive shafts I was over the moon ....with how it went ...just need two new inner CVs SKF I’ve ordered.... I did the silly thing of not checking my tyre temps before first going out ...Totally Stupid !!!! I need my front black art design front dampers revalved and Tender springs rather than progressive lower springs with higher poundage Ibachs with have been ordered I need to make a cork like plug for my Brake ducts as it’s cooling them to much and as it was a cold day I couldn’t bed them in 100% and no servo now meant no brakes really as the 360mm rotors cool enough I’m really over the moon and the car was so planted at high speed ... Mike Bland came along and I’m sure he will tell you how pleased I was I will buy two new go pros ...one for the front and one for the rear or better still a 360 one |

Can’t you hurry up the sequential as I’m thinking of going to 6 speed lol. You where certainly a happy boy like a kid at Christmas but well deserved. Again like you’ve said to me a few times it’s just good to see the car out there being used for what it was built for |

Have you thought about mounting a cable operated butterfly (like a throttle body) in your ducting route, that way you can tweak the butterfly opening on the fly if you decide the brakes arent getting enough cool air or are getting too much? It's something i might consider when i start work on goldie2.0 EDIT: Something a little like this: https://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/cable-operated-butterfly-valve ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |
