[quote="prism7guy"]Slightly off topic but my vacuum line split the other day unexpectedly approaching a junction. I needed new underwear after that one! Laugh
My vacuum comes purely from the vacuum pump on the end of the exhaust cam and it feels fine under braking (when the line isn't split).

Steve I bet you did ....I don’t run any pipes or use that on my Race Engine Thumbs up
Only vacuum pipe I had ...but don’t now was into my Inlet and that’s now gone ...no servo for me but it’s still situated in the same place ...until I have enough money for my Pedalbox LOL

Small update..

Managed to buy x4 used only once and not even heat cycled Dunlop 215/45/17 H1 compound = DZO3Gs

Paid £180 for x4 ...total bargain

They are 3years old by stamp on tyre ...but once worn in they should be amazing

Would those hardshell rear windows be suitable to use with standard mounts/hinges?

100% yes Barry ....they would of had all the holes in ....but I asked for them without M8 and had small openers fitted to release cabin pressure because of the roof vent and front door scoops Whistle

Similar / same as before Tom Thumbs up

Putting x8 injectors instead of four shouldn’t really increase any more power ?...

It should just have better lower end = lower revs as Sandy will have the flexibility to tune it for the injectors closer to the head for low end like standard 6 ...

Basically better drivability and power / Torque curve Thumbs up

My standard 6 engine with x8 injectors was so drivable and I must admit felt like I gained 40bhp how it performed but it’s all in the mapping Tom

Any more power increase is a bonus but 100% drivability is most important ....

Sandy has never had or tried this engine he built on x8 ....he’s as excited as me Crazy

What's the matter of putting 8 injectors on a standard engine? And where do you place them?

Bloody expensive bits / Jenveys / Rail’s / pipework etc ....as you need a new end loom and Aftermarket ECU that can handle x8....

Mapping £400-£500

Ive done it !!!!.....Is it worth it on a standard Engine ?...NO not for all the cost...but if you got money to burn YES....it’feels a different car Thumbs up

Satchell inlet not cheap x4 in there ....x4 in Jenveys
