Do you think it will see a track this year Damien ??

Sadly no Trevor Thumbs down

The engine has to go to the engine builder Sandy Brown for oil pump to be removed because I’ve gone dry sump and some upgrades plus it needs a refresh etc ...
He’s fully booked for the next 12months

Plus I’m only spending money that I have and earn etc .....so I recon 14-16 months Crazy

I've heard there is some good power gains when going to dry sump on the gti6 engine. Not that you need anymore LOL

Small and big news ...

The bonnet had gone away to be made of Full Carbonfibre

And great news and a big update for me that I should have the electronic box in a couple of weeks time Thumbs up

Well after Brexit and the joke and silly money import charges and carriage charges I thought I’d be out of luck with my Electronic Paddle shift setup ...
I was planning on buying new in Jan / Feb 2022 ?....but get a message today from a chap I know through a mutual friend that has a fully working setup in his EVO car and he’s breaking the whole car -because of a divorce sadly ...

One persons pain is another’s gain
hopefully I will be the proud owner of a 14months old /2nd hand Electronic Sequencial paddle shift gear selector that will allow me to still use the gearstick and have the gearstick as a back up incase the paddle-shift fails Whistle

At nearly 1/2 the price of new ...well just over Whistle

So the last item needed before a new ECU and loom and Engine refresh and upgrade next year Thumbs up

It will kind of look similar but different to the pic below but with my own twist LOL

Saved a big amount of money on this and bargain of the year ...

I’m excited as I can now get on with designing and fabricating the billet fixing mount and rod eye with the help of my m8s 5axis Milling machine

Always a pleasure to be told by your Composite guy that your sanding isn’t to his standard while he preps it and then sprays it ready for mould making LOL

Sadly not much with the car has happened lately…
Just gave my notice in at work and starting a new job in 4weeks time with more money and plenty of opportunities to earn genuine more money at last …

My Second hand Electronic Sequencial gear-lever selector for my Paddle shifts arrived and even though its out of a damaged car i must say its cleaned up well …
These are like £2.5k new with vat and delivery so to get one second hand let alone in this condition and amount i paid or paying …is wow
