As earlier posts said -The dash centre piece has been angled and extended by 90mm =(old school that’s just over 3.5 inches)

This brings everything closer and it feels more more snug and If I ever need to use the centre section I can now reach it when harnessed in ...

This is the first dash that was ever made from the mould I sold to Ryan / Pug_306 on here - sadly this one was made with very thick Fibreglass as the guys who made it were Paris-Dakar 4x4 racers who made everything to last LOL

It now weighs 5.9kgs with the bonded on and filled angled centre section which was made for me by the talented =David Warren = General Lee on here ...

I’m having it made in Carbon / Kevlar x2 thin 210g layers so it should be around 2.4kgs when made Thumbs up

I’ve spent all day using Turps and sanding off Lee Egan’s amazing grey flocking and smoothing out the joints that I’ve filled on the centre extension....of David Warrens x

Hopefully you can see from this top view how much the mk2 dash sweeps and angles 90mm more towards the driver Thumbs up
I think ...It looks a lot nicer being much closer now ..and as I’ve said already if you had to run switch’s and dials it’s lovely and close and your able to touch it Harnessed in ...

It will be flocked again when made Thumbs up

Sorry to read that Steve Sad

(On a car note only) = 2020 has allowed me to have the time I’ve always been short of to get mine to where I’ve imagined I want it ...as crazy as it reads all the stupid mid life crisis money I’ve been spending in my Willy Wonker mind is because I’m thinking of doing it first time now- how I want it rather than 4years time ripping it all out again ...

But on a (personal job front)- 2020 has been terrible (like many) I’ve lost and will be loosing £6k per year from now on at my main Mon-Fri job ....I’ve been screwed over and COVID is being used as the excuse to give me a pay cut Thumbs down

Sorry to bore you again ....Last pics of the Mk2 fibreglass dash before it goes away to have a mould made ....
Turps and Sander used to remove that flock as I’ve said before ...just a couple of corners to round off and the centre clock area to strengthen and off to get mould made ...

PS ..Another massive thank you to David Warren - General Lee for the centre dash extension he made in Fibreglass after me speaking to him with my vision ..3D photo and few days later it arrives and fitted like it was meant to be after bonding and a little blending in x

Camera looking down on roof / birds eye view about drivers head LOL

Remember the new electric steering is 18inches closer to the driver than standard so the dash is very much closer Whistle

Also I’ve been speaking to someone I know well and can trust about buying in on the mould making and marketing it for sell ....he has the network and knowledge to make it work ...hes already in the Fibreglass body panel game Thumbs up

I sold the mk1 mould to (Ryan 306_pug) on here many many years ago and he’s done a fantastic job and sold nearly 40 all around the world ...
This ones newer design and I feel 100% more usable than the mk1 one which has done a great job ...
.
I don’t want to make any money just cover all my costs as before and we would have to buy a quantity to get them at the right price to sell them at the right price ...see see...

Watch this space Thumbs up

It was time to cut and shut the two inlet boxes and try them to 200% make sure the angle is spot on ....
Remember I run usual trumpets from Satchell so the air box is 40mm away from the end of the Jenveys .

Cut the french original in half
