It was Hopefully 2steps forward ? but just had some news of one back sadly Update input shaft behind steering wheel now fixed as in pic and I have the 19mm = 3/4 tube to go in it also ...got SWG /2mm wall thickness =CDS & I bought 3.2mm /SWG also ... I need to design and then get cut out the support frame for the input /steering side column...I have a idea in my head This flaming river steering linkage Stuff isn’t cheap but the quality is wow ... https://www.flamingriver.com The only one problem now is my Lifeline (new Weld on )quick release Boss won’t be made or available for 4months .... No pic of it available yet only bolt on below ... Totally new design like Rapfix Japan stuff where the wheel can go on upto 100degrees out of line and self centre but no adaptor needed for Momo 70x6 PCD unlike Rapfix stuff https://www.oldhallperformance.com/lifeline-products-quick-release-steering-boss/high-angularity- |

I’ve decided tonight I’m going to cut the floor side out and move the seat more towards the tunnel like in Your car because now my elbows are far to close to my door bars and I have only spot welded the PAS so I can move it easily over a couple of inches ... Had a bad day today sadly had to visit Apple store as my phone screen smashed to bits luckily I still had 3months of Apple car still cost me £79 for a phone worth £1400 |

(Started something today )that I’ve wanted to do since I saw and bought the Satchell car that Mike Bland now owns and he has made a hell of a weapon ...I cut the inside Exhaust tunnel out around the drivers seat which has enabled me to move the seat towards the passenger seat and that has made the pedal box line up 95% now and i can now un-spot weld the power steering and move it towards the passenger side 50mm giving me much more right arm / door bar room ...plus the big difference is I was able to move the seat back 50mm :.. I’m making a steel 90degree angle piece up to weld back in tomorrow .. In pic steering wheel got to still be moved but the dash still fits with PAS fitted Just got to make up tomorrow a temp cardboard steering support template and the get it Laser or Plasma cut out and bent |
