Alex said because of the shape and side angles it’s going to need a two piece mould making
2-3 weeks and I should get it back
Fingers crossed as it’s need ASAP to start rewiring the car

Took the pain in the ass master metal piece to make a mould out of the 3mm steel centre Console I hand made that sits the Cartek 16 channel control Panel down to Fibreworx today and asked for it to be made out of Carbon Fibre ...Alex said because of the shape and side angles it’s going to need a two piece mould making 2-3 weeks and I should get it back Fingers crossed as it’s need ASAP to start rewiring the car |

Looking good I do really like the idea of the cartek, expensive but defiantly the way to go if starting wiring from scratch will make everything so much easier |

I’ve been looking at one for 3years now but wanted to see someone using one first ( not cheap as you said ) and CANBUS with PDM / switching to complex for me ( lap top setup not for me at mo ) Ryan Ennion’s been running one as you know for a while (NO issues as of yet ) Also Andy Reeds running one as you know and he’s very critical about things ( even if he owns it lol)...he said it’s amazing but a pain to wire up ?.....but I cheated and bought the pre-loom with 1foot tails from the connectors |

Inside car view ...notice I’m running two boots ..one on tube under the bonnet and one inside the car ...this is to help stop any fumes / fire break if I’m that unlucky and it stops crap getting into the tube 8/9 |

blandy wrote: Looking good not far away from running now? Thanks Mike It starts and gears / driveshafts work but I need a new full engine loom as I’ve upgraded to a DTA s100 for the Sequencial Box which flat shifting needs setting up and Rolling Road again and s100 helps the new injector setup Sandys doing I’m hopefully making the steering column support next for the Electric power steering ...I’m looking forward to that now and then Modifying and fitting the Citroen full car loom and Cartek 16 channel Still got lots to do |

Sounds good please get plenty of pics of the column as looking to change mine later down the line ref pedal box etc. I wired in a fan override switch for mine today For when sat waiting to line up etc and all the time sat there thinking how much easier it would of been with a cartek lol |

Might not look much progress from previous photos but trust me it’s all fitted in and works bloody well ...Just the fibreworx Carbon Fibre Cartek centre console to go just touching in front of the gear-lever - once made this time next week hopefully . Start on the full car wiring then Power-steering support frame after which will come off cage and sides |

Well just when you think there’s not much else to buy from Satchell and Tony Palfrey aka MaxiMotorsport...I discover Titanium 8mm bolts and Nuts....and No they are from PRO BOLT !!!These should keep my MaxiMotorsport Gear-lever secure to the base plate I made... Not cheap at this quality though ...crazy light weight to strength ratio Maybe if I change 7682 nuts and bolts the car will go quicker as it’s lighter I know I’m SAD |
