Afternoon all

Had a chat with driveline who make the 3j plate diff whilst at the autosport show at the weekend and he has given me the following prices on a group deal if anyone is interested ? Ramp angles would be 40/90 for road and track use but you can have what ever the funk you like

Hi Chris,

Good to speak to you earlier today here are the prices for you.

RRP £655.00 +VAT 10% off if you order just yours, if you get 5 ordered I will give you 15% discount and if you order 10 then I will increase that to 20% discount.

Let me know how you get on and I will give you a call early next week.

Regards
Jake Cope
3J Driveline Sales Manager

I'll get the ball rolling I'd like to try and get at least 5 people in on this to make it worth while
So please add your name if your in and willing to part with the cash

Cheers
Chris

I know Day666 will say the same but I love my 3J. Gave me about a 2 second gain around Brands Indy alone, completely changes the car.

It will require a bit of shaving to the gearbox casing to fit and will also need periodic servicing.

Highly recommend them!

not all casings need work, I've fitted a 3j into 3 casings and only one needed work.

As Dan already said best Mod on my Car Thumbs up ....

Sounds a great deal ...got mine off Miles ...make sure you check if yours needs shims also ...some do some don't & as Mei said not all need filing ....

I would suggest using new crown wheel bolts with loctite & new diff bearings that don't come with them .....plus new driveshaft seals ...

I'm looking to go there in April. I reckon the weekend is going to cost a good £1300 without any TF laps included, but a full day open pitlane on the thursday beforehand. Hopefully people will want passenger laps and buy the laps for the TF weekend, meaning i only have to supply the car and fuel LOL
I really wanted the diff before heading over there, but the way my finances are at the moment it's going to be tight just being able to afford the trip over there, and i think my supercharger is also dying. Doh Sad

Well your answering your own question ....if you think your Supercharger is on the way out ....don't go & sort that & buy the 3j ...do FCS & Pugfest & Trackdays as I'm planning ...

I would love to go ...but not paying £1300 ..

Spend it on the 3j & your Supercharger that could blow when your out there ...big expense then .:.go next year LOL

I missed the trip there last year so i'm making sure i go this year, im probably going to disconnect the 'charger for the drive over then re attach it for the open pitlane, drive it until it craps itself then run it n/a until i get home. Laugh my ass off
I might see if i can buy a spare charger so i can swap them over if it does go, currently just working out a way to hopefully stop the next one from breaking. Smile

Apparently they are easy to take apart but I'd just send it back and have it changed

That's what I was advised as well. I could do it but no idea how to measure everything so easier to let them do it and service it when they do.
