Iirc, 306 have 2 different size diameters for mounting bolts, and 405/Berlingo have the same size diameter 306 = m12-m16 405 = m16 X 2 ?? ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. Made a start on fitting the recaros today, got the passenger one in but it's been raining on and off all day so didn't get a chance to get driver seat in. Passenger seat it a lot higher than I wanted so will lowere it once I get the driver seat in. It's good fun, no one expects is so you don't get all the younger little bellends trying to race all the time. Had a bloke chase me about 3 mile the other day in his ford transit connect just to ask what the hell is in that thing! turned round to say it's a 1.9dt with a blown exhaust mate  then he insisted it was a red top  NO MATE I WOULDNT WAST MY TIME WITH THAT s**t! Finished work early today so set about making the driver seat mount to fit the drivers recaro, all in now and it sits slightly lower than the standard seat but not as low as I was hoping to be honest but it will do for now. Lowered the passenger seat today, both about level now and feel a lot better too. Also got hold of an MX5 battery as there smaller and a sealed unit. Had to move it from under the passenger seat to behind the passenger seat now.
