Well it had to happen again at some point so her I am back in a 306 LOL



As you can most probably work out from the Project thread title I now own a China Blue Supercharged 306 once again,it was only a matter of time before I was back in a fine french hatch and something special came up locally for a very good price.


Car in question has been bought from Luke (Nickgti.gti6's lad) whom is a really nice guy and has a rather nice Super Bigh Boost Manlove 6.


The China 6 is just a Low Boost Version but enough to keep me entertained as its purely a weekend/toy car for me.It has a great spec and has plenty of nice bits fitted so
I SHOULD be happy for some time withnher



Anyway enough of my bulls**t lets get some pics up of the new love of my life Love Love Love

See it's fitted with wilwood calipers.... what mounting bracket are they on, I've the same calipers but wilwood tell me off the shelf mounting plates aren't available to suit a 306 hub?

Fitted with brackets that were designed by a old member/admin called Welly.he did a group buy on them for a bunch of members.

If you want I can ask a mate to see if he can knock some up at his engineering company

Lovely looking motor Ash, any plans for it bud? and just jumping on the Willwood question, apart from the bracket are they a straight fit with the existing discs or are spacers also needed with different discs?

Plans are to have front bumper painted,drivers side rear arch painted and either

1.sell engine/brakes etc and return to 100% standard car

OR

2.spunk loads of cash and make it into a fun weekend car Laugh

In regards to the calipers they simply bolt on the the brackets that bolt onto the hubs.When Welly designed the kit he designed it around the standard 283mm discs as having bells/rotors made up was expensive.

If people are interested I'd gladly have a few sets of brakes made up Thumbs up

In terms of wilwoods I've got everything other than the mounting brackets... So if there is a group buy or a mate at a machine shop who will make these up then I'm in!

Had just put feelers out to buy this myself to fit the charger to the Rallye. Obviously I was a bit slow off the mark, if you decide to offload the supercharger bits I'd be up for taking them off your hands. pm me if/when

Cheers for the offer but there's already a list of members vultures asking me for the kit if I break it.

I'm siding towards option 2 and just wasting more money into a french s**t heap Laugh my ass off

Looks smart, and also internally wet. Perhaps with anticipation.

The aerial is flat, although this is compensated for by the lovely brake calipers.

Yes she was a bit moist inside,sure i can dry her out (like most ladies) the aerial is not flat just streamline and brakes are rather fetching Love
