Hello all,

I've read through some of the bits on here regarding rust but it didn't seem to apply!
I bought a pattern part Klarius back box and have had it on the car for about 3 months, already I've noticed the chrome tip has rusted quite a bit! Is there a best way to remove the rust which I presume is only surface rust and protect it to try and maintain some sort of shine?

Thanks. Smile

Hi, try a metal polish such as autosol to polish it back up. To protect it you could then either clear lacquer it as long as it doesn't get really hot or just try a few coats of wax?

Funny this should pop up, we have used klaurius exhaust for a while and had no issues but I too had to replace a customers exhaust after only a few months due to rust, it was well set in and no polish would have removed it.
