Looking for info as I got my hands on a "magnex" centre section in very good condition for much cheapness, it looks a hell of a lot bigger than the sportex one I have now (just a cheapy until I got the magnex), also doesn't have the flanges either end its just straight, so I'm guessing I need a magnex rear silencer and decat as it won't fit the system I've got just now. I emailed magnex and they don't make the systems for the 306 anymore, so I have been looking for just the decat and rear silencer and no where sells them and I'm not paying £400+ from spoox for what I have minus the back box, I would be happy if I could just find a back box I could get a decat made to fit just nicely |

A magnex uses the sleeve type connection as you have already found out where as a sportex used the factory spec flange fittings.Keep an eye on here, 306oc and ebay as lots of people sell magnex back boxes, used of course. There was one on ebay recently but I think it sold. You do not need a de cat. The cat has a tube that the magnex centre section slides onto, you just put a exhaust clamp on it. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |

Nothing to stop you picking up the rear silencer of your choice and having the joint cut off and a sleeved-type joint welded on.________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

I bought a second hand Magnex 2.5 & had all the sleeving cut off & two bolt flanges welded on by Infinity exhausts in Bristol as sleeving was blowing a little in places & they fitted flange gaskets same as these below.... Now100% nothing Day666 has attached the following image: |

Mongoose systems bolt together like that as well, no leaks and easy to fit.________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |
