Because I need all the space under my bonnet I decided last night to make a stainless steel box & drop it Into the floor of my 6 .
I'm going to make a fibreglass lid as The one I made out of alloy today I'm not 100% happy with & I want it not to conduct Thumbs up

That's why I f**k Rikky. He's from just the right side of the tracks to be clean but close enough to be cheap. He likes the games too.

Whilst it's a good idea, and you have made a decent job of it, why not just buy a ready made fibreglass battery box and fit an AGM battery, that way it doesn't need vents and you don't need to cut out your floor? Just my 2ps worth. Thumbs up

Good question !!!!!

Varta battery is 3 months old & cost lots !!
Box cost me zero pennies in money as it was made by me at one of my customers premises .
My car isn't stripped & has everything stnd on it apart from A/C & I only drive it 2-3 times a month so need a good battery Thumbs up
Must admit I do like putting my touch on things & not just buying ready made stuff always Crazy Whistle
Thumbs up
