standard reg will run both just fine, no reason to run it separately, just wasting money________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

How do you pipe it up? Only way I can see is through the outer rail then into the standard rail. Personally I wouldn't do that, I'd run the rails in parallel to ensure an even pressure at every injector, then link both returns together before going to the reg. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Right here goes Stnd Fuel rail at front on Satchell modified inlet . Stnd 4 injectors cleaned & tested going into stnd place & using stnd fuel rail & FPR Told these can handle 230-240 ? Jenvey 91mm bodies with Jenvey billet fuel rail with another x4 stnd cleaned tested injectors to match front set into bodies Then linking off front rail & out back into Front FPR into tank as Backplate stepped thanks to comment Trumpets & air filter have to wait until I see what room I have ??? Sandy said one FPR will do & stnd one can cope as many of you have said ... Also as Mei said check old pump is good as it will cope easily only if it's not worn to much ? £97 & comes with sender if not ? Put a new fuel filter on £10.00 & new Sandy Loom with x8 injector & s**t taken out & a 8v 106 coil pack with new leads & a new set of plugs ... Not Forgetting New TPS fitted onto Jenvey bodies ...... Have a 3amp plug fitted one at mo that Sandy is testing & looking at ?? Only because some have had problems with P&G ones ???? Full Map & hopefully bingo Hopefully somewhere near it then ?? |

yep, pretty close now.I use 90mm trumpets with the same body and manifold, could probably squeeze longer in if needed but I thonk the tract length is about right. I would get a walbro replacement from torques.co.uk £70, you may need to adapt some fittings to get it fitted, or might not, some o.e pumps are walbro already but lower flow, if working they are sufficient though. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I thought that the Penny and Giles sensors would be the most reliable, my Colvern was giving intermittent readings at the throttle stop position. I'll post a pic of my 8 valve 8 Injector Gti engine when i get home. |

The fuel comes in to the regulator, out of the regulator onto the first original rail, out of the end of the rail, joins a T piece, one side of the T supplies the second rail, the other side of the T returns to the tank. Only one regulator needed. I did have another fitted to the end of the second rail, but took it off as it wasn't needed. Here in the my old Bx: Coil i am using on my Gti6 is from a Peugeot 605/Citroen XM with plug leads from a Vauxhall (calibra or vectra?) V6 i think. Someone on the forum mentioned using Corsa leads also. I only chose the V6 leads as my coil is mounted near the battery and i could choose the right length of leads from the set of six. |

180mm from inside airfilter housing to Nissan Radiator Loads of room !!! Sandy said 70mm-80 trumpets even with air filter lots of room & putting alloy thin plate under airfilter to stop hot air from radiatior going directly into filer 70mm trumpets only stick out of stepped filter housing by 30mm ..Jenvey said filter needs to Stick out past trumpets by 30mm ? So narrow filter will do Day666 has attached the following image: |

You'll have a lot less room with the satchel manifold if you go down that route |

blandy wrote: You'll have a lot less room with the satchel manifold if you go down that route That is a Satchell inlet on there !!!!! Just never had it so Jenvey is upside down ...& kept the injectors all on top Sandy said & Colin stated the main reason for welding the inlet upside down was for the 205 where space ontop of the Jenveys would hit the bonnet & not a problem with 306 The power diff is nothing ? Orange gaffer tape over standard injector holes to stop s**t entering |

yup, I have 90mm trumpets, just because I didn't know what size to get really, seems to work nicely, if you're going for 70mm trumpets then a 65mm deep ITG filter will do nicely, you'd get away with 80mm under it too as they say a minimum of 19mm but preferably 32mm.ITG-JC50-65 next one up is 100mm deep, overall height of all these type are 25mm more than the internal height. https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/itg-megaflow-air-filter-jc50-itg-jc50 Also, Sandy posted this regarding the upside down injectors, its not just about space. quote: Colin will make the manifolds with the bodies the normal way up if you wish, but the reason I switched to mounting these upside down, is through my development. The injectors are nowhere near able to point at the back of the valve with a manifold of that length and with them mounted above, the fuel puddles on the floor of the manifold, which is clearly evident from the staining you get and inconsistent transient enrichment response. With the injectors mounted below, there's rarely any staining at all and transient enrichment is much smoother and cleaner. You can also use injectors in the OE location with these manifolds if you wish, or twin locations whhich gives the best of both worlds with staged injectors (which the OMEX 600 doesn't do, one of the reasons I favour the DTA S40). The aren't many people who operate such a tight development loop between manufacturing and mapping as I/we do, so the reasons why things are done a certain way, might not be understood. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
