Woukd bolt straight onto an xsi engine..... but it wouldn't last 5 mins and have different cams and valve springs and bottom end etc. Don't think it would like the 7650rpm limit and running 260bhp when it's 135 standard.________________________________________ Black power baby! In some respects the XSi engine is suitable due to being slightly lower in compression, however I don't know if they have piston oil jets and double valve springs like the GTi-6 (which are both things you would want). Also, our engine management software is only for the GTi-6 engine. It won't work on the XSi, this is different and you can't easily fit the GTi-6 ECU setup (no mounting for camshaft position sensor etc).. early J4R do have oil jets, all are single springs and less duration and lift, so the springs are not stressed.head flow itself is not far off that of the RS head. cam sensor can be added easily. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Can still get over 400 miles to a tank on a supercharged 6 their surprisingly economical if you don't boot it. But it's not very often you don't boot it.....________________________________________ Black power baby! I've done everything I wanted to the Corolla, it's a bit of a weapon now on the lanes, the LSD was the icing on the cakeI've got a few subs in it now, need more........ (Midlife crisis style) I could really do to sell this kit now as I've got my eyes set on a 15 inch Orion HCCA sub ________________________________________ Get used to seeing the yellow one !!!Team 330™ Team "no front end or engine" Team "LIMITED EDITION" I live for the 306 sticker Team 0-60 in 6.44 & standing qtr in 14.808 @ 94.55mph all with std engine 203bhp Corolla T-Sport daily driver stealthier than Kwai Chang Caine |
