Woukd bolt straight onto an xsi engine..... but it wouldn't last 5 mins and have different cams and valve springs and bottom end etc. Don't think it would like the 7650rpm limit and running 260bhp when it's 135 standard.

In some respects the XSi engine is suitable due to being slightly lower in compression, however I don't know if they have piston oil jets and double valve springs like the GTi-6 (which are both things you would want).

Also, our engine management software is only for the GTi-6 engine. It won't work on the XSi, this is different and you can't easily fit the GTi-6 ECU setup (no mounting for camshaft position sensor etc)..

early J4R do have oil jets, all are single springs and less duration and lift, so the springs are not stressed.

head flow itself is not far off that of the RS head.

cam sensor can be added easily.

Can still get over 400 miles to a tank on a supercharged 6 their surprisingly economical if you don't boot it. But it's not very often you don't boot it.....
