I have an earth fault to my front speaker passenger side wiring i am trying to find where it maybe damaged does the speaker wire go direct to the door gator socket in the door jam or is it linked elsewhere e.g behind the dash
The door wiring is fine have checked can anyone advise cheers!

I came to that conclusion but just wanted to see if it was likely to be anywhere else before cutting of the old and replacing it i guess the wires are direct then ?

Don't use standard speaker wiring. ( unless your a halfords chav )

Run a fresh length from the boot ( amp ) into the door. You will get a much cleaner sound.

Wont do the halfrauds thing cant stand s**tty fixes been restoring her since jan she was badly neglected by some chimp having a bash at it, all pug parts only, pricey but i want her original need a rallye driver seat sort this speaker issue and then a new paint job and some other body fixes and she's there
