Bridgestone - in my opinion, make the best tyres at present. runflats are a subjective evil- they work but weigh twice as much and cost loads more! yet one of my customers had a puncture in Paris on a Sunday night and made it back to me on the same tyre, so they obviously work!!!

One day, Maybe, I'll be able to buy a car new enough to try them!

We tend to think the standard bridgestone runflats (RE070R) on the R35 GTR are completely s**t Thumbs up
Considerably better ride, longevity, grip (especially wet) and lap times on Michelin Pilot Super Sports Smile

I've used an E92 BMW on both the Bridgestone runflat and the super sport and i've got to say the Michelin is worlds apart. That had the 19s and coilovers though so ride quality isn't great anyway...

I've got 2x 225/40/18 88W Bridgestone Potenza RE050AI Star (for BMW) fitted by BMW. They still have 100% of tread and still have casting marks on the tread. £250 collected for both which is less than half what BMW sold them for!

Hi Ash, thanks for the offer but they're not the tyres for my car. I need 225/45/R18 91W.

New car now has 19" Goodyear Eagle F1's (runflats) and the improvement on ride comfort is unbelievable compared to the Bridgestones.
