There should be a blank where the dimmer switch would be, this includes the bridge link, the plugs have to be plugged into this or the dash lights wont work.

Sounds right, I had the same problem on mine when I bought it. I made a little bridge cable to push into the ports in the plug.

Well now the cars back on the road and running well i had a drive out sunday with my mate in his 106 rallye over he pennines and got a few photos.
While i was out i was getting pretty annoyed with my exhaust rattling on the heat shields so decided i would just remove them today, seemed to be the easiest option and less weight Big grin Hopefully it will warm inside the car a little too as its quite cold on a morning with no heaters.

Got my oil pressure gauge wire in today, got an oil temp gauge on order too as i cant seem to find the plug or wires for the standard oil tem sensor on the new engine.

Not really done much with the rallye over the last couple of weeks, its mainly been sat parked up as i have been using the work van and bought the missus a racing blue 182. Started using it again this week and decided to take it to FCS.
Gave it a service today. 10w60 engine oil, 70w80 gearbox oil, oil filter, ball joints and drop links. Added a couple work stickers too, thought why not LOL
Oh and nearly lost a rear brake pad the other day too... Laugh my ass off

It was done over xmas a few months ago but has been back since for some other bits.
Think its coming back soon to have a 02m box fitted.
Its a blue 172 cup. 389bhp limited to 350 until the new box is in. Has the blue recaro f1's in it.
