Chaps, am panicking.
I had to leave my car in a garage while I went abroad and now I'm back she won't start.
I put a new battery on but found I was getting no fuel to the rail. I bridged the pump and it works fine so I unplugged the pump relay behind the battery, bridged it and the pump worked continuously. I put a new relay in but the pump doesn't prime or spin in any way with the new relay. So by my wreckoning the pump works and the wiring between the relay and pump is fine. I checked and the fuel is getting to the rail but I don't know if it's getting to the cylinders as when I removed a plug to check it was dry. I also have no warning lights on the dash apart from the battery one.
What do you guys think? Immobiliser? bearing in mind it's a phase 2 with two black keys and no beeper.
ECU?
Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to have to break this car it had so much work done before I had to leave it.
Thanks

No spark was evident when I checked with the fuel relay bridged but I ran out of time to check with the new relay fitted.
There is a little red light and its flashing. What should it be going?
Thanks in advance.

Did you take a plug out and look for a physical spark holding it against the engine?

Yup, removed a plug and held the end of it against the head with the coil attached while a mate turned it over.
Could the fact that it had no multi function relay connected explain no spark then though or does the relay only control the injectors?

Your best bet is to pour milk into the cylinder. Blacklock told me it always helped him fire his up...

have you plugged the relay in as normal and checked for spark? ie no bridging anything

I had a horrid feeling that may be a possibility. I've never had a fob, just solid keys and having replaced all the suspension last summer I noticed a distinct lack of siren and immobiliser gibbons under the front wing.
I also didn't get the opportunity to check for a spark with the new relay cos it got dark.
Having to return to France on Monday so ill have to wait a week or so before I can go back.
Is there any way of bypassing the immobiliser? Happy to remove it completely if it gets her running again.

Unlocked Ecu and unplug the transponder under the dash = job done

Soft unlocked will do as long as you unplug the transponder before you do anything else.

If you only have a solid key that won't have a chip in it ?

Infact the transponder must be unplugged if you don't have a chip key ?

I'm not to far away If you get stuck.

Had this exact issue on a peugeot 806 a few months ago and it had no fuel or spark. Lots of wiring checks and strip down and found it was a connector block corroded up in the end.

Check both the round ones on the passenger side front inner wing near the airbox. Also check the earths down there and the main one on the gearbox. Put an engine in my 6 years ago and found had no dash lights and wouldn't start.... Poor contact on earths on NS inner wing.

Also had my 6 fail to start suddenly a
Few months ago and it had 0 spark but plenty of fuel. Crank sensor was the culprit.

Immobiliser issue will kill spark, not fuel. If you have no fuel as well as no spark, then immobiliser is not at fault.

Excellent advice on the corroded plugs and earths suggestion. I would be checking these first.
