Ok, I've done 35nm Then went round on 70nm Now, for 160degrees do I just need a f**k-off extention bar? Seemed pretty tight at 70... Yeah you need a angle gauge. Got one over here if you want to come and borrow it. I angled mine and had to use a 2ft breaker bar to do so. My first one i did i was worried i would snap the bas**rd but they won't! Just make sure you get the washers in there as well and makes life a tiny bit easier if you put a bit of grease on the washer. |

Well it turns out its actually really difficult to turn the bar at all when you've put your back out.  . When I did my HG I could only get about 90 degrees with a breaker bar before it wouldn't move any more. That was using new bolts.________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Did you put some oil on the back of the bolt heads? Something not right there if you can't tighten them, I did mine on an engine stand which is a dam sight harder than with the engine in the car....________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! I had no issues with tightening, but didn't realise until after that I should have had washers on. The bolts I removed didn't and the new bolts I bought didn't either________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |
