Just came across this beauty on the bay.

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=261560444765&globalID=EBAY-GB&alt=web

If I'd known that keeping a standard 6 box with a kaaz diff (I'm assuming that's what kass means) meant I could get to 60 in 3 seconds, I'd have never bought my new box....!!

I think hes a little optimistic on most of the ad! 0-60, top speed, and most definately price! I reckon there is about £15k of bits on that car, the rest of the £45k must have been labour or something!

Well yes! I'd have been disappointed to sink 45k into that!

The 0-60 was the main thing that jumped off the page. As you say, the rest of it is unlikely to say the least!

Massive rip off, if they wanted 18k for a 205 I would expect pages of info not just "Adjustable suspension" "Uprated brakes"

There is no way that a 205 could do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and no way that 232bhp is getting you to 170mph! Unless it was downhill

It would do that 0-60 if you left the handbrake off and it fell off a cliff.
It's probably a nice, quick car, and I actually like it, but it isn't worth 18k and for the 45k build (if true) he must have let pug1off do absolutely everything.

bo***cks, my standard engine got me to 150 and it just ran out of revs, my mates v6's go to 155 and just run out of revs.

Was this car at Pugfest doing some hill runs? Recognise the flocking advertising.

If so - it went really really well IMO.

150 is the easy figure, It's insane how much more bhp you need at that speed to go only a slight bit faster.

That's why you need over a 1000 bhp+ to get upto 250+ when a car with half of that can get to 200mph anyway.

IIRC it's something mental like when doing 60mph it takes 20bhp to overcome the air resistance and then at 120mph it takes 80bhp (Calculated on an average weight and drag of a car)

This was at FCS and I got chatting to the guy that owns it. Older chap that raced it, but didnt seem to know much about exact spec. This is why his advert is very vague, and why the Pug1off prices are so high as he told me they did everything.

Was at Pugfest the year before too and was going very well. Does seem to be a very capable, quick car, but still not worth the £18k asking price.
