Selling a set of Omega pistons I bought a while ago that I won't be using any more. Brand new in their boxes, never been put in an engine. They come with piston rings also.

These are the same as the ones used in the 406 Super Tourer so you know they can handle a fair chunk of power!

Looking for £350 inc shipping as I'd like a fast sale. They're about £800 new.

Pics to follow

Same bore yes. I believe the height is different though as standard rods do not work.

I was intrigued about these when Alex had them, though specific details were rather sparse, i.e rod length (or crown height) cutout depth and radius and the dome volume (i.e compression ratio) Hmm

AFAIK you need to run the 40mm crank for standard rods to work or get custom rods made. If you're using custom rods then you may as well put in the crank from the HDi (I think) to get more capacity.

There is very little cut out on them. Dome is fairly concave. Should be picking them up from the garage tomorrow so will take photos then.

but standard rods are 50mm big end, so wont work with the 40mm crank....

measuring them would be the best bet Smile

I'm basing it on what Alex told me, I've not really looked in to it Smile
