Been on phone a second time to him and turns out he's from top gear, they want to use it for an episode in new series, shame I don't own it anymore! They desperately want a 406 coupe if anyone has one?

I did think that so got them to email me, the email all looks legit. Not sure whether I can be arsed with it though in a way, will have to dig it out and sort all the transportation times etc.

You'd trust top gear with your car?

Well... I trust their insurance policy LOL either way Its a 306 at the end of the day.

If they are wanting to do a piece on peugeots and I have a nice one it would be selfish to say no. Smile

After the last time on top gear with a 306 ( the Chaved up v6 hill climb ) why would anyone send there car on there. They are only going to make it look stupid and de value our cars even more.

306's have hit the bottom. They cant go down in value. Besides, they want standard cars, no chav stuff. Furthermore, we have all seen Clarkson's review of the Gti6. If hes given another nice one I think he will give it praise. Smile

They probably think your a cold caller trying to sell something with the amount of calls!! A bit desperate for the 5 minutes of fame?! Lol.

Have they said what they actually want to do with the cars? Could be the next victim of a piano falling on top of something! LOL

I spoke to them on friday about it, definately not a con, they offered to pick it up on a transporter but they said ifyou wanted you could drive it to chipping norton and watch filming. I asked what they wanted to do with them and if any presenters would be driving them and they said no they wouldnt be driven. They just wana line all the peugeots up and do a segment infront of them all talking about them
