Not too bad. Would be bloody expensive to replace when they eventually get hit during a race! ![]() ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Door looks amazing Wayne ...Keep the updates coming & are the new members helping out anymore now Dan you already know the lighter you can get your car safely the quicker your going to be racing it ...crazy for me as I'm only doing track days & action days but for you all that weight saving would make your car unreal m8 |

There's a balance though. On a trackday the chance of you getting hit is minimal but in a race it's much more likely. If I was building a track only car it would be even more extreme than the race car as most things will only be a one off fee! Doesn't take much for some side-by-side contact when doing an overtaking move to damage your nice, expensive carbon fibre door________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

welshpug! wrote: you've not watched knockhill or castle combe then ![]() Your not wrong Mei ....the last 5 times I've been to Combe a car has been written off & at least half a dozen ...bad ones each time ... Last visit last month on Forge Action Day a Clio was so close to ending up in the crowd Dan two Forum members on here have written off both 6s at Combe on track days ... I would like to think much better drivers on race days & same as you don't want to smash cars up .... Some real idiots on Action days ...all the gear & no Idea |

Interesting idea. I put a long, thin bolt through the bonnet badge which you have to slide the bonnet over when removing / putting on.________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |
