Never ever buy anything from this person. I bought a "good condition" gearbox and asked him to buy me a brand new window seal from ebay since they didn't ship abroad. Paid 80 pounds for the gearbox, 20 for the seal (it was 15,99 on ebay) and 50 for the shippment via GLS. I asked and he said OK to packing it properly since GLS might refuse to collect if it not packed in a box shape package. He made me wait 3 weeks for it before it was ready for collection!

Got myself a not drained, covered in oil and "not so good condition" gearbox wrapped in GLS tape - no other packaging what so ever and a torn, unusable, "20 years old" window seal that went directly to the bin!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS THIEF!!!

He works in PUG Performance Motorsport in Odiham, Hampshire. If that's the kind of "performance" they offer I feel sorry for his customers...

The gearbox was fine and drained, if it had not of been it would never of arrived to you..we was no way in hell sending it in a box, it was tied down to a mini pallet using proper black parcel wrap to cover it. As for the seal it was actually £22 delivered.

The gearbox was fine (working) but the bearings in it weren't so fine and loud. And don't tell me it was drained because even after it has traveled 1500km there was still enough oil in it to cover the courier's storage place, his car and my workshop floor!
And what, because you didn't get the extra 2 pounds you decided to send me some torn piece of s**t instead of a new one you were suposed to order? Should have said so! I've sent you 100 pounds, the extra 2 wouldn't make a difference!

Your a cheat and if I knew that before I would never buy anything from you!

I've sent gearboxes before, and as much as you attempt to drain all the oil out, there will be occasions where what appears to be a fair amount will continue to seep out away from the gears when the box is then left in different positions.

I would wrap mine in pallet wrap, cling film and tape - not a box due to the off size and weight of it making a mess/bending any box you attempt to put it in.

For the reasons which you've experienced, I now dislike to courier gearboxes as it opens you up to hassle.

I collected a gearbox in a brand new hire car less than 1000 miles on clock, it absolutely covered the boot in oil.

Regardless of any mess the oil created the seller has still sent him a piece of s**t of a gearbox.
I had exactly the same with the one I bought, it was worse than the one I removed.
