I’ve got a pair of 24mm torsion bars which, I suspect still hold a bit of value. However they’re still very much located in whatever it is they locate in (hub?) Is there anyone around Brighton who has the appropriate tool to pop them out for me?? ________________________________________ Rallye-RNurburgring article |

Trailing arm I would guess. The bars are separate from each other, but each have a lump of car on one end.________________________________________ Rallye-RNurburgring article |

I did try to tickle them out with option 1, but to no avail. As for option 2 - I'll check again but I don't think I spotted on in the shed. Am I wrong in think there is a tool for this then? Is just about accurate deployment of brute force? ________________________________________ Rallye-RNurburgring article |

I used a big socket, a bolt with a nut on it and some big thick washers to wind mine out. That did the trick for me. Like this Socket Method ________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |

One of the best things we found was to put the beam on it's end and put a load of WD40 all over it and inside the ARB is it runs down and through. Next day it came apart much easier.________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |
