Glad your enjoying it mate. When you get back from race with it we should look at tidying up the interior. Repaint and finish nicely etc. That's gonna be a lovely car.

Wow, nothing like a 2000mile road trip through the alps 5days after getting the car back. Learnt a lot about the car, found a few problems along the way but it kept going and just managed to get me home. Had to limp 300miles to get to the Euro tunnel after a driveshaft shat itself big time.

12am before we left

Cheers mate. Its good to keep a record of everything you do. Plus, like yourself, it gives other members something to read and maybe get a few ideas from. Thats what i do. I get inspiration from other peoples project threads. This is one of those projects that will never end. Doesn't help the fact that it takes me ages to actually do anything tbh. But it's shaping up well yet still soo much more to do. Im spending a bit on it these couple of months (new custom exhaust tomorrow) so expect a few updates very soon Thumbs up.

Looks good mate, fair amount of effort gone in there.

Shocking at the person using a grinder in the car with no safety glasses though! Asking for a spark in the eye there!

In a fabrication/welding workshop that's pretty standard practice. LOL
But did I get any sparks in my eye? No I didn't as I was careful which way I sprayed the sparks. I generally wear safety glasses when they are close to hand. Plus I think that was a only a quick tickle.

Had the 6 inspected recently and as expected it was in great shape. All bar a snapped suspension spring. So got myself a new pair of springs for the PSX kit. Also treated the missus to some harness pads and a foot rest. Finally fitted my carbon door cards with pull straps which i am very happy with...

Finally got around to booking in for a new custom exhaust 'cat back' system. Specifically built to comply with trackday noise levels it comes in at 98db.

Few more bits coming soon Smile

After the recent inspection found a snapped spring, i sorted the new psx springs and when i got time, got down Pete's garage and he whacked them on for me.

Fresh.

While car was up, he replaced the brake fluid with some ATE race fluid and bled it all through. I took some sneaky shots of the pipe...

I was very naughty and treated her to some new shoes. So excited...

And now tucked away in her new home Smile

Good effort dan. Do the brakes feel better after new fluid and a bleed out?

Not had a proper chance to use them yet but I'm sure they will work much better under consistent firm braking Thumbs up
