Excellent. Keep us posted on the progress. Id spray something into the ports incase the vavles have stuck or anything. Then turn it over a few times by hand before starting it.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Worst case, the engines shagged. That's not something worth killing it for. Engines are peanuts really.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Little update.Had a cambelt/water pump change at the weekend so one less thing to worry about. Upon draining the coolant system, it seems the rad is blocked in the expansion bottle. Even a compressed air line was stuggling to push the water out the bottom hose so we have a brand new nissens rad hopefully turning up today. We hope this will resolve the knocking noise from the head (we think it could be a result of coolant starvation to the lifters). Once its all plumbed back together, we will be moving onto the chassis upgrades ________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

If you google about there's a way to remove the need for the keypad immobiliser in case you wanted to get rid of that and save a little bit of unnecessary weight.________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |
