Unsurprisingly the bucket seat we have bought (Sparco Pro-Adv) doesn't fit on to the subframes I have on the reclineable buckets. I remember a few people had cut out the tunnel and welded in 2 bars to bolt the side mounts straight to, is that right? I think CBS provided the bars as well? Thanks! ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

I did mine without cutting the tunnel. Depends how low you want the seat though.I think there's some pics in my project. ________________________________________ Rallye-RNurburgring article |

So you've bolted the side mounts in the original locations on the "gearbox tunnel" (handbrake) side then run 2 new bars to bolt the outside to?________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Sort of.Lets take the drivers side for example - the left bracket picks up the holes on the "gearbpx tunnel". I've then welded a bit of 30mm box across the support the back right of the seat (I located this over the threaded locator "barrel" that the original mount uses on the sill side) and the front right is brought up to height with a bit of 40mm box. I think Daveyboy had some pics of the same install on here somewhere - it was his I roughly copied. ________________________________________ Rallye-RNurburgring article |

Ok, interesting. I don't want to be much lower than it was as neither my Dad or I are particularly tall and I'd quite like to see over the steering wheel so if not cutting the tunnel is an option then that would be good.Like you've done, all we need is something to bolt the right hand side to as we can just bolt to the "gearbox tunnel" on the left. ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

I cut the tunnel to get mine where I wanted it but I'm fairly tall but most just weld in the bars and use the original mounting with the other side on the bars |

Yea, we're not that tall so don't want to be too low. The height of just mounting to the "tunnel" is about right, just need something to bolt to on the right hand side.________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

any decent welder/fabricator can sort you out tbf, and you don't need to buy any specific kits, I think AdamB's seat rails came to a grand total of about £3 ![]() ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I ended up buying a seat fitting kit from Motorsport Tools (part number MST1313). It comes with 2 bars, 4 attachments for bolting too and several reinforcement plates. Took them to my local garage to welded them in without needing to cut the tunnel out as we aren't tall enough to be that low. ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Did you remove yours, or is the Rallye not fitted with this?. This has prevented me from making the seat any lower. Yeah, removed it as it slap bang in the way. just drilled out the spot welds and removed. In case it decided to split I stitch welded the seam. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

I probably went overkill on bracing but wanted it definitely hold in the event of a crash.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

No, but the underside is. So its only missing 2 10mm stitches where the scollops are. And when you look at held in the original seat, whats on there is much much stronger. I also laid down runs of weld not back to back tacks like most people seem too. Everything was preheated a little so the welds ran in better too.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |
