These are the tyres we use in the Ginetta junior series.

Championship regulations demand 6 new tyres per meeting, hence I have numerous sets available.

Some of these have only done a single wet qualifying session, some one wet race.

An extremely good quality tyre, in VGC

£175 open to offers per set of 4

Why are these so much more expensive than the others available? I have bought 4 sets of these, all of which were around £100-120.

Good for you mate, I may have some spare medals somewhere.

The price does say offers, several sets have been sold just shy of asking price

Cheers

Haha I'm gonna have to use that somewhen. PE2's are awesome tyres in wet and dry and very long lasting. Well worth the money if their pretty muh new. Just to small for my car Sad

Cheers just trying to weigh up my options. Go brand new Rainsports either 55's for £288 or 50's for £140 (plus fitting on the 50's).

or these plus delivery and fitting.

Is there any noticeable difference in the performance of 50's compared to 55's?

As far as I see it the 55 has a taller sidewall giving more chance for the wall to fold and the vehicle to wallow, a squatter good quality 50 profile should always be better, especially these ones with a good quality construction
