A lot of noise, back pressure isn't important on forced induction. Depends on the bore of the system really. ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Project Thread Looking for: VTS P1 Rack PR1.2 16" |

To get any real gain out of it you would need to have it custom mapped i would think. I have mine setup as similar as possible to the car that the map was created on.________________________________________ Just Drive It |

I wouldn't do it mate trust me it'll be too loud. superchargers do need back pressure remember a turbo is a silencer all of its own in the exhaust. all you can hear on supercharged cars is pressurised air going past the exhaust valves. especially if you go highboost if you still are?________________________________________ Super high boost Completed, destroyer of gearboxes and 160mph club |

IMO achieving a nice tone is FAR better than having a high level of noise!________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

Yeah, it doesn't quite have the same top end pull with a centre box. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

A slight loss in the mid range with no centre box, better pull up top. My centre pipe was bespokely made by Zero Exhausts in Ashford, Kent. It cost me £100. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

If your planning in doing track days don't bother removing your centre box |

pugheaven wrote: If your planning in doing track days don't bother removing your centre box I agree here. My old 6 was pretty much standard apart from BMC CDA, magnex decat, 2.25" stainless middle section and scorpion back box what got sound tested at croft 98.8db so I am guessing with a charger you can look to have that increased. A lot of tracks have noise limets of 105db. I must say tho I loved the sound it made ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |
