I had a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's nicked from behind my house last week, bit unlucky for myself and for T99PUG who I had agreed a price with to buy them! However the thieving f**ks who nicked them haven't got one of the spacers for the wheels, as it was in my garage.

They are 16x7", black and in reasonable nick but not brilliant. As mentioned one of the spacers is missing so it could be pretty obvious if they are mine or not...

If anyone comes across anything that sound similar, please let me know!

I have the reg of the van I suspect the culprit drives also so if anyone has a way of finding the address a vehicle is registered to then I would appreciate it if you could assist...!

I'll ask through ebay if you like? Might be an idea to keep questions through there to a minimum though, if it is him and he gets 20 potential buyers asking how many spacers he has got for them he may get suspicious.

I really do detest thieves! Hope you get it resolved Pete. Bat?

Don't think it is those wheels as I have seen the van that I suspect belongs to the thieving twats in town today, so guessing they are local.

Horncastle is an hour or so from me, but I saw the van around a lot, then I didn't see it for a few weeks until today and thought maybe they had been working in the area for a week or two and then gone home. Long shot I know, my brain is going into overdrive whenever I see wheels that look the same making me believe they are them!

I've edited the original post as don't want to incriminate some random ebayer!

What kind of van is it? Would the wheels fit the van?

Might do actually, I'm sure you can guess that its a battered white transit! Don't know what those TD wheels are beneath the spacers, are they ford fitment? His van would look truely s**t with them on though!

That's what I would think except there were another 2 bare alloys and 4 alloys with tarmac rally tyres on them which weren't taken. And they were nicked whilst we were asleep, sometime in the early hours which isn't very scrap manish... more like someone who knows what they are doing.

I guess you live fairly remote if you leave stuff outdoors worth any sort of cash then. If it ain't bolted down it's easy to go walkabouts.

I've had an engine on the drive before tucked away but partially visible from the road and had scrappy knock on door to see if they could take it away to then ask about the beam they then spotted that was visible from the door tucked away by old outside bog. I was in Bala at the time but told my mate to lock the gates till I got back as I could bet the stuff wouldn't be there when I got back.

I was the same to be fair. Up to reading this status I had 1400 quids worth of track bits in the boot of my 306 on the drive (which has no lock set) transferred it all to the garage now. You don't think about the possibility until its too late. Once bitten twice shy I suppose.

Where does Jord fit in then? Did you drive down and nick them yourself?

Sorry, I'm not sure why I wrote Jord, it wasn't him, it was T99PUG who was supposed to be buying them.

They were sat at the back of house and have been for over a year, there's 2 locked gates between them and my driveway but they pushed the hedge back and got around the gate post and then broke the lock on the second gate. Dunno if they got tipped off or what but you can't see them from the road or even anyone elses garden so unless someones been doing some roofing nearby I don't know how they knew they were there.

Anyway, everything is now locked away and I got one of these- http://www.screwfix.com/p/yale-premium-wireless-4-room-alarm-kit/54473 which is now protecting my house, garage and shed. Although looks like I got it just in time as they were £169 last week!

I had a magnex exhaust stolen out of my porch at 9am by the scrap boys.
Cheeky bas**rds knocked on the door, when nobody answered they took it and drove off, I heard the van drive off after door knocked.
somebody off here had paypaled me just 8 hours earlier to buy it.

i took 4 tyres out of my garage to photograph them and within 15 seconds a scrap van showed up with a PA system asking about wheels tyres and end of life vehicles. it's like they could smell the tyres and zoned in on my house immediately?!
